Join us for a super fun storytime with author Blythe Russo! We'll read Blythe's latest picture book, Sloth Sleeps Over, play games and get to know your stuffy.
After storytime, we'll take good care of your stuffy as they continue to enjoy their day and sleepover at our little shop. Pick up your stuffy after 12:30 p.m. on Sunday and see what adventures they had! We'll also be posting their romps on social media.
From debut author-illustrator Blythe Russo comes a delightful and heartwarming friendship story that is also perfect for bedtime. Sloth is invited to her first sleepover at her best friend Paloma's house and even though she doesn't quite know what to expect, she's very confident in her sleep skills. She's an expert when it comes to napping, dozing, or catching some Zs, so she's ready to excel at sleepovers too. But when she arrives, she finds out that Paloma wants to stay up all night! Will Sloth be able to keep her eyes open or is their friendship in for a rude awakening? At its heart, Sloth Sleeps Over is a story of togetherness, and is sure to leave readers and their best pals grinning as they snooze the night away.
Blythe Russo is an author-illustrator currently living just outside Cincinnati, Ohio. When she's not drawing, you can find her sewing, building puppets, or in the kitchen on a never-ending quest for the perfect chocolate chip cookie recipe. Blythe holds a master's in illustration from the Savannah College of Art and Design and is an active member of SCBWI.
